**Job Description**

The Quality Inspector ensures that precision metal components meet strict quality standards by performing detailed dimensional inspections, operating a variety of measurement instruments, and accurately documenting results. This role works closely with production teams in a clean, modern quality lab and on the shop floor to identify nonconformances, support continuous improvement, and uphold rigorous customer and internal specifications.

**Responsibilities**

+ Use profilometers to check surface finish on metal components and accurately record results on designated forms.
+ Operate microscopes, micrometers, and roundness gages to verify part dimensions and document all measurements.
+ Inspect parts produced on operators’ machines using a variety of gages, including air gages, concentricity gages, plug gages, dial bore gages, and drop indicators.
