Brief description of the position

The Quality Engineer (Product Safety Representative) will ensure that Group Africa adheres to the legal obligation to ensure product safety to avoid risks of loss/damages to persons or property that arise from the use of the Product.

Possible Tasks within this Role Assisting in new projects with the establishment of Product Safety. The target is complete implementation of actions/corrective actions to vehicle safety requirements for the prevention of repeat failures with the use of the Product Safety catalogue (lessons learnt). Inspecting pre-series units in conjunction with other Q-type responsible PSB’s to expedite safety relevant problem recognition and corrective action implementation. Undertaking regular vehicle and line checks to evaluate current production (parts, part assemblies...
