Quality Controller - PQI Assessments and Packing

About The Role

Reporting to the Growing out, Packing and Dispatch Supervisor, the Quality Controller for PQI Assessments & Dispatching will be responsible for conducting Plant Quality Index (PQI) assessments to determine which plants in the Botterblom Nursery are ready for dispatch to the field for planting. This role involves ensuring that plants selected for dispatch match the PQI batch specifications, meet quality standards, and are correctly packed for transport. The Quality Controller will use the MyCrops system to maintain traceability, ensuring quality plants from specific catchment areas are dispatched to the corresponding farms. Additionally, the role includes recording the quantity of plants dispatched and ensuring sufficient quality plants are packed to meet the planting teams’s schedules.
