JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Quality Control Operative to work at a recycling plant based in Carrington, M31.

Main Responsibilities:

• Working in a safe and efficient manner as instructed by the Shift Manager.
• To ensure that environmental issues are reported immediately to site Management
• To ensure that you are at you place of work in a timely manner as required by the business.
• To attend site Safety / operational briefing as required.
• To work in accordance with the Site rules and procedures.
• To adhere to site rules and PPE requirements at all times.
• Report Hazards, near misses and incidents immediately.

Specific Tasks:

• Working on the sorting line or equivalent to ensure the material grades meet the required specification of the market.

• To ensure that bales of material meet the desired quality specification through inspection and dressing.
