Position Summary

Ensures compliance with quality requirements by providing training to personnel and auditing plants and production yards in the utility pole. The role oversees multiple facilities to ensure materials are produced in conformance with industry, company, and customer‑specific quality standards for untreated and treated material, preservatives, and treating specifications. Travel commitment is 60% or greater of the working schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensures corporate quality policies are adhered to at production facilities.
• Ensures adherence to documented procedures in the QC Manual and ISO 9001 procedures as applicable.
• Routine travel to provide onsite support at treating facilities, production yards and distribution yards. Travel schedule shall be 60% or greater.
• Provides training on defect awareness, product quality, procedures, laboratory procedures and methods.
