Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to support a manufacturing team in Portland, Oregon. This Long-term Contract opportunity is well suited for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing purchasing data, vendor follow-up, and order status communication. The role will focus on maintaining accurate records, supporting procurement activities, and helping ensure materials and supplies are available when needed for operations.

Responsibilities:
• Verify newly entered part information for completeness and accuracy, and approve records once validated.
• Improve data quality by identifying process issues, correcting inconsistencies, and helping strengthen database reliability.
• Support procurement operations by placing orders for non-stock materials, supplies, tooling, and other requested items.
• Monitor purchase order confirmations, record supplier commit dates, and obtain missing acknowledgments within expected timeline...
