Bronx, New York - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Job

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

• Remote and hybrid opportunities available

• Must be available to work at least 25 hours per week

• On-site requirement: one day per week

• Office hours are Monday-Friday

• Schedule varies based on site and patient need

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning

• Prescribe medications and manage psychiatric treatment plans

• Educate patients regarding medications, treatment plans, risks, and expected outcomes

• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as appropriate

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, counselors, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams

• Coordinate referrals for inpatient care when clinically indicated
