The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent and will be responsible for coordination of all production requirements including safety, quality, administration, scheduling, cost control, client/sub‑contractor/craft communication and management. This position will be based in Thunder Bay, ON and will be a night shift role.
Responsibilities
- Work with the business to develop business case and feasibility studies for project intake
- Assist with major construction projects, including liaison with Owners, Consulting Engineers and Subcontractors
- Support with the preparation and execution of overall work plan and schedule
- Review and process shop drawings
- Coordinate material and equipment needs
- Prepare weekly productivity and cost tracking
- Prepare cost estimates for change orders and audit purposes
- Price site instructions, work orders and change notices
