Production Supervisor

My client, in the manufacturing industry, is looking to employ a Production Supervisor for their branch in Kempton Park. The ideal candidate will manage the conversion of product from raw material state into finished goods product in the most efficient cost-effective manner according to internationally benchmarked standards and practices.

Duties & Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Liaising with factory manager regarding customer demand. (Pacer Plan)
2. Planning and scheduling production in line with the pacer plan and any changes in customer demand.
3. Communicating planning schedules effectively with Team leaders and team members.
4. Ensure short interval controls are performed at the correct times to ensure production targets are met, and inventory is in place.
5. Ensure 100% MPSP and 95% PSA performance.
