Purpose

• Understand the TVS-developed Product Data Management (PDM) system, its interaction with other TVS SCS core systems, application functionality and working processes:


• Add new parts & BoMs to the single-source data repository – using the Product Data Management ( application,


• Manage asset information, the related BoM-build data and the lifecycle management of that data.


• Analyse bill of materials and create ‘serviceable’ aftermarket parts data,


• Liaise with the Technical Publications team to create supplementary sBOM illustrations,


• Analyse engineering-released technical drawings and CAD data,


• Manage supersession information (using TVS supersession ‘types’ and ‘grades’), related/associated parts and cross-references (under the client’s instructions).
