The Banking Controller Analyst is an important intermediate level position within the Controller organization responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records.
The overall objective of this role is to product control all financial aspects for the business segment covered, including P&L explain, attribution, new activity analysis, support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Daily P&L production and reporting for desks within the Investment Banking segments.
- Daily financial close out of transactions including Income Statement analysis, journal entry posting responsibility and validation of ledger balances.
- Maintaining awareness of accounting and regulatory changes affecting P&L reporting
- Coordination of Global P&L daily reporting.
- Track and reconcile of Receivables and Payables in the context of IB fee life cycle.
