Buyer Position

We are looking for a buyer with 2+ years of buying experience. This is a contract role based in Silverton, Pretoria.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for buying goods within the procurement department.
• Experience in buying raw materials is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills within the team and with clients.
• Maintaining good relationships with clients.
• Capturing information and sending it through to relevant departments, and following up.
• Computer literacy: this role involves a lot of PC work on basic Microsoft Office, as well as buying programs.
• At least 2 years of buying experience is required.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Matric.
• 2+ years of buying experience.
• Buying experience of raw materials is advantageous.
• Bilingual: English and Afrikaans.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
