            1. JOB SCOPE  In charge of the operational procurement process for ship’s requirements. 
 2. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY / TASK DESCRIPTION  Negotiate / communicate with suppliers specifying quality, quantity, and delivery schedules 
Schedule, arrange, and follow-up on logistics to ensure cost effective and timely delivery of items on board 
Monitor schedules of the assigned group of vessels to optimize deliveries on board 
Proactively participate in department meetings and other activities 
 3. EXECUTION  Processing ship’s requisitions via the defined in Company Procurement procedures/system 
Evaluate bids and make recommendations based on commercial and technical factors 
Create and send purchase orders after approval 
Prepare items for shipment, arrange for transportation of product and coordinate shipments of supplies to ships
