Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, alimony, modifications, contempt actions, paternity, and related Probate & Family Court proceedings
Manage a caseload with increasing independence
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, agreements, and legal correspondence
Prepare for and attend hearings, conferences, mediations, conciliations, and trials
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda as needed
Negotiate settlements and help clients evaluate practical legal options
Communicate with clients in a compassionate, responsive, and professional manner
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on case strategy and case progression
Qualifications
JD required
Active Massachusetts Bar admission in good standing
3+ years of Massachusetts family law experience
