Summary

Responsible for quality patient care under the direction of a physician or licensed healthcare provider in a clinical practice. Duties to include rooming patients, taking vitals and health history, documenting in an electronic medical record, giving injections and assisting with minor procedures.

The Cardiology, Neurology and Nephrology Clinic at Health West is located at the MUSC Citadel Mall location in West Ashley. It is one clinic that serves multiple specialties throughout the week, including Cardiology, Neurology and Nephrology. The team members (RNs, LPNs and Medical Assistants) work alongside the providers of each specialty to care for their patients. Duties to include rooming patients, taking vital signs and health history, documenting in an electronic medical record, returning patient messages, giving injections and assisting with minor procedures.
