Position: Principal Land Consultant

The WSP Land team is seeking an experienced Land Consultant to lead delivery of major infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland. The role involves land referencing, land acquisition, land access, statutory consents and stakeholder engagement to support projects in energy, highways, rail, water, local government and aviation.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure successful delivery of projects – securely, on time, within budget and to high standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, internally and externally, managing relationships.
• Advise on land issues across the UK and Ireland, including statutory processes (e.g., DCOs, DNOs, Scottish Bills, TWA, T&CPA, CPOs, motor‑way orders).
• Secure land rights for high‑profile infrastructure projects.
• Liaise with landowners, land agents, legal representatives, planning authorities, key stakeholders, contractors and clients.
