Our client has an opportunity available for a Principal: Credit and Post Investment Officer based in Durban.

Requirements

• BCom Honours or Post Graduate Diploma in a related field, CFA, MBA or equivalent qualification.
• 8+ years’ experience in a lending environment, investment banking, management consulting, development finance, corporate finance or similar field.
• Previous experience in corporate finance - essential.
• Deep understanding of the lending and credit risk environment.
• Strong credit risk skills, financial modelling, risk management and restructuring capabilities.
• Understanding of corporate finance principles.
• Familiarity with regulations in the industry.
• Demonstrable value-add through operational or strategic oversight in investee companies.
