Job Summary

Position: Primary Care Paramedic

Status: Full time permanent

Hours of Work: Rotating days and nights, weekends, and statutory holidays. Subject to change due to operational requirements.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary Range: As per collective agreement

Language Requirement: Written and spoken competency in both official languages (English and French) is required.

Responsibilities

Respond to calls from individuals in medical distress through the 911 system and dispatch appropriate emergency services.

Provide medical support to patients on scene and during transport to hospitals.

Transport patients to appropriate medical facilities by ambulance and, when necessary, transfer critically ill or injured patients via specialized air ambulance to medical centres.
