Position Summary:

The primary function of this position is to provide a substance abuse prevention curriculum to high school-aged youth in Monroe County.



Essential Job Functions:


+ Engages in direct staff hours of service for assigned clients

+ Provides prevention counseling sessions to high school and middle school students at schools as assigned

+ Conducts individual, group, and school wide activities per prevention model

+ Refers client to counselor, psychologist, psychiatrist when appropriate

+ Coordinates with schools and school personnel to provide prevention program
