Summary This position is located in the Reserve Fleets, Office of Ship Operations, Office of the Deputy Associate Administrator for Federal Sealift, Office of the Associate Administrator for Strategic Sealift, Maritime Administration (MARAD). Responsibilities As a Preservation Servicer, you will: Regularly inspect shipboard coatings and failed coating remediation involving scaling, scraping, and chipping. Perform vessel maintenance through topside housekeeping on non-retention vessels including sweeping and trash removal. Provide deck maintenance and repair, including of exterior surfaces, and surface preparation and recoating of failed areas aboard retention vessels and Fleet service craft.
