Position Summary
The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to join the laboratory of Dr. Mary Underwood for a one-year, fixed-term position with the possibility of renewal dependent on performance and funding availability. The Underwood lab studies the role of clearance receptors in thrombosis development, specifically understanding the molecular mechanisms driving the interactions between these receptors and blood proteins. The candidates' main project will involve identifying ligand binding domains for the clearance receptor stabilin-2 and identifying the intracellular proteins important for modulating stabilin-2's interaction with its ligands.
