The position
A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology with the research group Hylleraas Centre for Quantum Molecular Sciences.
The workplace is at UiT in Tromsø. You must be able to start in the position within a reasonable time after receiving the offer.
The position's field of research
The Hylleraas Centre is a research centre with nodes in both Tromsø and Oslo and hosts a wide range of activities categorized over different research themes (RTs). The current position is connected to RT1, “Molecular Quantum Mechanics”, which concerns the development and implementation of novel quantum mechanics methods to molecules. In Tromsø, this theme is primarily represented by research concerning multiwavelet methods to describe electronic structure and molecular properties. Additionally, the position could be connected to RT3/4, “Matter field interactions” and RT0, “Hylleraas Software Platform.
