Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the Center for Neural Science at NYU. We are looking for a postdoc to work on the theoretical and computational neuroscience, developing models and analyses of neural population activity and the structure of representations that support behavior. The successful candidate will be hosted by the Kiani Lab at CNS and work in collaboration with the Chung lab at Harvard (Center for Brain Science and Kempner Institute).

The position is well suited to candidates with a background in theoretical or computational neuroscience, machine learning, or physics who are excited to engage with rich primate datasets through close collaboration with experimentalists and theorists. This is a joint endeavor across the two labs, with regular group interactions.
