The MOCQUA team at Inria Nancy is seeking a postdoctoral researcher in the theory of quantum computing.

The project aims to analyze how the energy consumption of fault-tolerant quantum computers scales with the size of quantum algorithms, particularly in regimes where computation is optimized for energy or power efficiency rather than qubit or gate counts. In practice, the researcher will model energy exchanges and noise dynamics in typical quantum hardware, in collaboration with physicists.
