Key Responsibilities:

+ Coordinate the design, performance, and analysis of experiments independently and in collaboration with the Principal Investigator (PI) which may involve one or more of the following:o Investigating how varicella zoster virus (VZV) contributes to neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, and stroke. Investigating how extracellular vesicles contribute to these diseases.o Laser-capture microdissection of protein aggregates in human brain tissue (e.g., amyloid, tau aggregates) for downstream mass spectrometry analysis.o 2-photon imaging of cerebrovasculature in vivo to study vascular dynamics during neuroinfectious events.o Investigate the underlying mechanisms m...
