Job Summary Operates and monitors auxiliary equipment and systems which support the safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally sound production of electricity and steam. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Properly operate, inspect, and monitor power plant equipment in a safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally sound manner, including: Gas Turbine/Generator and its associated auxiliary equipment Feedwater / Condensate Systems Fuel Systems Boiler Equipment Water Treatment System Observe variations in operating conditions and interpret meter and gauge readings to troubleshoot plant equipment and resolve operational problems. Recognize safety hazards and follow safety guidelines for personal protection, protection of fellow workers, and the protection of the public.
