Position Purpose

The Night Plant Operative supports the Shift Supervisor in the refining process of silver and other precious metals. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, efficiency and environmental compliance, with tasks involving heavy lifting and machinery such as angle grinders.

Responsibilities

• Crystal washing and drying.
• Bar preparation, dressing and number stamping.
• Assist with unloading crystal from cells.
• Assist with pouring fine silver bars.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards.
• Assist with goods inwards as required.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor.
