Piping Inspector for OSBL Services required on contract bases for 12 months
Requirements
ASME B31.4 certified or have comprehensive knowledge and experience of 10 years in process piping outside battery limit inspection at refineries or petrochemical plants.
Shall have sound knowledge of related pipeline construction and inspection codes.
Good knowledge of pipeline components including fittings, flanges, valves, and associated piping hardware.
Shall witness fit-ups and perform visual examination of all pipeline welding activities.
Shall coordinate with NDE examiners for radiography, ultrasonic, and penetrant testing to complete inspection requirements.
Shall witness hydrostatic pressure testing of pipelines and interpret test results.
Capable of measuring pipe wall thickness using UT equipment and performing corrosion assessment.
Shall review and approve welding procedures and welder qualification records applicable to pipeline works.
