Schedule/Availability Requirements:

• Stat date: April 2025 ongoing for 9-12 months
• Schedule: 24hr call 7a-7a
• How many days needed/month? 8-12 days per month
• Facility Location: Mercy Medical Center Redding
• Setting: Acute Care, Level 2 Trauma Center (acts as a Level 1)

Duties:

• ED call, rounds, and consultations

Required Procedures:

• EMR: Cerner Care B
• Support Staff: Hospital has hospital-based APPs that support the ortho-spine service line. Hospital has a separate call panel for neurosurgery.

Reason for Coverage:

• One of two orthopedic trauma specialists in the community is relocating.
