Special Education Teacher Needed Full time position in Middle Village, Queens Responsibilities: To prepare Individualized Education Plans ('EPs), and/or individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) and Progress Reports for each child in your assigned group. To prepare appropriate curricula for each child IEP and/or IFSP. To prepare of weekly lesson plans reflecting IEP and/or IFSP goals and alignment with NYS Common Core Standards. To participate in education conferences with other members of the interdisciplinary team. To participate in IEP/IFSP meetings. To participate in general staff meetings, when appropriate.
