Opportunity: Neurosurgery

Job Details:

• 26-week contract with options to extend and locums to permanent available
• Full-time schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Provide care for both inpatient and outpatient neurosurgery patients
• Manage 8 to 20 patients per day depending on facility census and transfers
• Outpatient responsibilities include managing post-operative patients, case management, and ordering imaging and scans
• Inpatient care involves managing brain tumor patients, neuro ICU cases, and meningioma patients
• Handle high acuity patient transfers from other facilities
• Perform special procedures including pulling drains with training available for EVD drains
• Use Epic electronic medical record system
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in neurosurgery or complex surgical floors required
