Join a collegial group of 21 anesthesiologists that enjoy a respectful and collaborative relationship with their surgical colleagues. Provide anesthesia for a 300-bed Level II trauma center in most areas of surgery at 2 sites: At the main campus, they cover 10 regular ORs, 1 cardiac room, an active endoscopy service, a moderate amount of radiology services (MRI, CT, and IR), minimal cath lab, and 2 CS rooms. The Ambulatory Surgery Center is located 5 miles from the hospital and runs 2-3 rooms daily. They have an active Labor and Delivery Unit with approximately 1800 deliveries per year and a 40% epidural rate. Anesthesiologists are able to choose their rooms from a rotating list each weekday to maintain skills in all areas. The group has a fantastic call schedule with a lot of flexibility and ample time for rest! They work 11 weekends per year and always have 4 people on call. On the weekdays, 1st call person is in-house, but comes in at 5pm and leaves at 7am with the post call day off...
