The Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to fill a permanent position of the Physician 3 – Transgender Medical Specialist.

The Physician 3 Serves as the statewide Transgender Medical Specialist under the supervision of the Deputy Chief Medical Officer. Analyzes, directs, and coordinates medical care provided to transgender incarcerated individuals statewide, both in person and through telehealth modality. Collaboratively develops and coordinates with the Gender-affirming Program Coordinator and/or Transgender Health Navigator the implementation of the ongoing systems approach for the provision of health care related to gender dysphoria and transgender individuals.
