Physical Therapist Assistant

In Coral Gables, Kendall & Homestead is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant for its Palace Nursing Home & Rehab Center located at 11215 SW 84th Street Miami, FL 33173.

The #1 priority of this position is to provide physical therapy as prescribed by a physician, which can be safely provided in the facility and assisting the physician in evaluating patients by applying diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint and functional abilities tests.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Assisting Physical Therapists in carrying out the selected program and procedures.
• Performing routine treatment procedures in accordance with the planned program.
• Responsible for record keeping procedures and charting, ensuring confidentiality of all records.
• Communicating with patient's physician and other healthcare professionals.
