Job Title: Physical Therapist

Location: Detroit, MI 48235

Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Payrate: $58-$60/hour



Responsibilities:

Works under supervision of Physical Therapy supervisor

Treats patients using standard methods (heat, cold, electricity, traction, ultrasound, exercise)

Evaluates motor and neurological capabilities; documents findings

Assists patients with rehabilitative exercise programs

Instructs use of equipment (braces, splints, ambulation aids)

Administers and interprets diagnostic tests

Documents evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries

Co-signs notes from assistants, aides, and students

Develops home care programs; educates patients and families and more
