**Location BSWH The Plaza College Station TX**

**Department Physical Therapy - Orthopedic Outpatient**

**Shift Day Monday - Thursday 7:15am -5:30pm Friday -7:15a, - 5:00pm**

**Preferred Experience Must have completed or is currently attending an accredited PTA Program . PTA license must be active or pending. We are looking for someone that has experience with outpatient ortopedics patient population age rage from adolescents to geriatrics.**

The Physical Therapist Assistant, under the supervision of a physical therapist, conducts patient assessment, testing and therapy using standard physical therapy modalities to restore function, relieve pain and prevent disability.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE**

Administers physical therapy interventions as planned and directed by the Physical Therapist to facilitate quality patient care; applies therapeutic principles appropriately.
