Summary:
The Phlebotomist is responsible for inpatient, outpatient and off-site blood specimen collections using proper phlebotomy technique while ensuring correct patient and specimen identification. Also performs secretarial duties as directed by department schedule.

Responsibilities:
• Ensures competency in all required skills and completes competency assessment annually; and other assignments as requested.
