**Job Summary and Qualifications**

Technologists are responsible to perform Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT examinations, with protocols as outlined by the Radiologist and Cardiologist. Scope of practice in nuclear medicine and PET/CT technology includes, but not limited to, the following areas and responsibilities: operation of nuclear medicine and CT instrumentation; performance of diagnostic procedures, patient care, quality control, handling of radiopharmaceuticals, usage of adjunctive medications, in vitro diagnostic testing, radionuclide therapy, and radiation safety.
