One () temporary part time Personal Support Worker position is available at Groves Memorial Community Hospital. You will be an integral part of a collaborative and inter-disciplinary team focused on delivering exemplary care to our patients. 

This position is unionized with UNIFOR Service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


The Personal Support Worker assists with patient care by:

  • Having a strong focus on client safety and ethical standards,

  • Developing respectful working relationships with patients and families to meet their care needs,

  • Being respectful of the dignity and the individuality of each patient,

  • Providing personal care that meets the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of each patient - including, but not limited to, preventative skin care, hygiene, grooming...
