Personal Care Assistants - Briarwood South

Pay: BG4 £15,668 (Actual Salary) from April 2026

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:30am to 2:45pm (including a 15 minute unpaid break). Term time only, working 39 weeks (including 5 inset days), 13 weeks school holidays of which 6.6 weeks paid as annual leave.

Responsibilities

• Carry out personal care routines with/for pupils, including manual handling (training provided).
• Assist in break and lunchtime supervision to ensure pupils receive their drink/meal on time in a safe and hygienic setting.
• Deliver food in consistency and form suitable for each pupil according to their personal eating and drinking needs.
• Support hydrotherapy and physiotherapy sessions.
