Provides anesthesia to trauma patients with both medical and surgical trauma emergencies. Manages difficult airways due to blood, vomitus, or severe facial fractions and also provides massive blood and fluid resuscitation, treat coagulopathies, obtain vascular access, prevent hypothermia, optimize mechanical ventilation, and ensure adequate anesthesia and analgesia.
Education/Experience: M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine and completion of an Anesthesiology Residency and a one-year trauma anesthesiology fellowship from an accredited institution and three (3) years of clinical practice in trauma anesthesiology. Board Certified/Eligible in Anesthesiology
