**Job Description**

Respond to sexual assault survivors in the Emergency Department when called in during shift.

Assist survivors of sexual violence by identifying and resolving or ameliorating needs related to the trauma through providing specialized medical assessment and treatment, evidence collection (as indicated), documentation, facilitation of follow-up and referrals, and testifying in court (as indicated).

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelors Degree
+ One year of full-time clinical post-graduate experience.
+ Physician, Physician Assistant, Registered Nurse, Nurse Midwife or Nurse Practitioner with a valid New York State license
