DescriptionThe Per Diem X-Ray Technician performs basic and advanced procedures in accordance with established protocols. Evaluates images for technical quality. Must exercise independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the technical performance of imaging procedures and recognize patient conditions requiring immediate action.
ResponsibilitiesDuties include: (but not limited to) perform radiologic examinations on patients referred by physicians in accordance with radiologic protocols. Must be competent routine diagnostic, operating room, and portables. Must be able to evaluate radiographs for technical acceptability.
