DescriptionThe (per diem) Cardiovascular Technician is an integral part of the clinical care team, responsible for preparing patients for invasive cardiac procedures, assisting the health care team in hemodynamic monitoring during the case, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities Maintain sterile techniques to prepare room, equipment table, and provide quality care to patients. Monitor equipment to ensure appropriate working conditions and during procedures. Alert the care team of any changes. Retrieve supplies under the direction of physicians and nurses during the procedure as needed. Maintain stock at par level in the procedure room by restocking rooms after each procedure with items used during the procedure. Restock lab area as needed. Participate in product evaluations.
