The section of General Academic Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking a collaborative and innovative physician to lead our team. We are a strong section composed of 25 pediatricians across all ranks, 5 APPs and several cross appointed PhD researchers. Each of our highly productive faculty members balances a mix of clinical care with scholarly work in the areas of research, education, quality improvement, and advocacy, in addition to community engagement. Our providers also hold leadership positions nationally in the AAP, the NC chapter of the AAP and the APA.
Clinically, we care for children in a community based pediatric primary care clinic which is a certified patient-centered medical home for an under-resourced population. The clinic is the primary teaching site for the pediatric residency program.
