Description
The Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) Department of Pediatrics seeks a faculty member in its Division of Academic General Pediatrics. The Division is currently comprised of 38 faculty members with a broad range of interests in supporting early childhood health and development from a holistic perspective. The vision of our Division is to improve the health of children through a comprehensive approach, addressing social, community, and societal challenges that children and families face in achieving optimal health. The clinical activities of our Division include newborn nursery and ambulatory pediatric care.
The Pediatric Primary Care Clinic employs a patient centered medical home model and relies on a multi-disciplinary team. Our clinic is one of the main safety net clinics in Nashville, serving a diverse and predominantly low-income population with high social needs.
