Arnold Palmer Hospital Perfusion Department is seek for a Pediatric Perfusionist is qualified by academic and clinical education to provide extra-corporeal circulation during a medical situation where it is necessary to support or replace a person’s cardiopulmonary, circulatory, and/or respiratory function. Under supervision of a physician the Clinical Pediatric Perfusionist will operate the Heart-Lung Machine to maintain the circulation and physiologic parameters perioperatively for the patient during congenital cardiac surgical procedures requiring critical knowledge, skills and judgment to care for neonatal and pediatric patients requiring complex assessment and therapies, high intensity interventions and advanced level continuous vigilance.
