Job Role

To plan, deliver, and adapt high-quality physical education and sports activities for pupils with a wide range of special educational needs, including Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). The role focuses on ensuring all pupils can access, enjoy, and benefit from physical activity, while supporting their physical development, communication, sensory needs, and overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

To provide PPA cover though planning and delivering an inclusive PE curriculum with lessons and sports sessions tailored to pupils with diverse and complex needs, including Autism, SLD, and PMLD.

Adapt activities using specialist approaches (e.g. sensory-based activities, structured routines, and communication supports such as visual aids or PECS).
