About the job Payroll Officer

We are seeking a detail oriented and deadline driven Payroll Officer to join our retail payroll team.

This position will be based at our head office in Durban.

Criteria

• Grade 12/Matric and payroll qualification or relevant degree or diploma.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a payroll officer.
• Experience in the retail sector would be advantageous.
• Working knowledge of Sage 300.
• ESS systems knowledge advantageous.
• Financial report writing advantageous.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update payroll records, prepare payroll reports, and reconciliations for Company 001payrolls (relating to earnings, deductions, Company contributions and benefits, and leave).
