Schedule: Part-Time (20 Hours/Week)

Shift: Afternoon Shift 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Every other weekend and holiday rotation
General Summary:

The Patient Safety Assistant (PSA) plays a vital role in supporting the well-being and safety of patients within the Henry Ford Health System. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the PSA is responsible for ensuring a safe environment and providing one-on-one observation and support to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Monitor patient activity and behavior, promptly reporting changes to the RN in accordance with established protocols.
